QUANTUM QUENCH VACUUM

The Quantum Quench™ Vacuum Furnace offers controlled multi-directional delivery of cooling gas in selected quadrants without having moving parts inside the vacuum vessel. This patented design delivers controlled cooling in selected areas and eliminates maintenance commonly caused by moving parts within the main vacuum vessel which are constantly exposed to excessive heat.

The circular hot zone and cooling arrangements are divided into four quadrants: the bottom quadrant below the hearth area, the top quadrant, and the right and left quadrants. Cooling gas can enter from any one quadrant or a combination of quadrants. An alternate cooling gas can flow from the top and bottom quadrants to control distortion and provide unparalleled metallurgical and physical results.
