POWER GENERATION & ENERGY

The power generation industry continues to see radical innovations, and the reduction of traditional energy derived from carbon sources will open the door to new sources of energy in our day-to-day lives. Many components used in alternative sources of energy will have to be designed for extended life cycles and operation in harsh environments. Heat treating of multiple alloys used in the power generation industry will change the energy sectors and provide clean and affordable energy to heat and light our homes and power our vehicles.

Meantime legacy sources of energy such as nuclear, oil and gas, and hydroelectricity will remain and still require that components last their maximum life cycle to keep on producing energy for years to come until a new source gradually is found.

We have developed process- and application-specific know-how to help manufacturers and suppliers to the power generation and energy industries ensure that parts meet or exceed the performance and design expectations of the most mission-critical applications.
