A European manufacturer of hard rock drilling tools has contracted to purchase an NX-820 gas nitrocarburizing (FNC) turnkey installation, complete with furnace, control system and technology, from Nitrex Metal Inc.<\/p>\n
The customer found in Nitrex a dependable partner who could provide a reliable technology for improving the wear and sliding resistance of its products.<\/p>\n
The selected NITREG\u00ae-C<\/a> potential-controlled nitrocarburizing technology and customized process recipes meet the customer\u2019s technological requirements for tool performance and reliability, while the ONC\u00ae<\/a> in-process post-nitrocarburizing oxidation provides additional corrosion resistance to maximize tool longevity.
